Image to Morse Code
Turn the words in a picture into Morse code. Upload or drag in a photo, screenshot or scan, and on-device text recognition pulls out the text. Tidy it up if needed, then play it as audio or copy the dots and dashes.

How it works
The tool runs Tesseract, an open-source optical character recognition (OCR) engine, entirely in your browser — your image never leaves your device. The recognition engine is loaded only when you pick an image, so the page stays fast to open. Once the text is extracted it’s shown in an editable box and converted to Morse with our standard encoder.
Tips for accurate OCR
- Use sharp, high-contrast images with clear, level text.
- Printed or typed text reads far more reliably than handwriting.
- Crop out clutter so the engine focuses on the words you want.
- Always check the recognized text and fix any mistakes before playing or copying the Morse. Recognition is tuned for English (Latin) text.
