Morse Code Clock
Watch the current time tick by in dots and dashes. Pick the blinking-light display to read each digit as glowing Morse glyphs, or the clean ticking readout to practice on demand. Tap “Chime the time” to hear the hour, minute and second beeped out loud.
Starting clock…
How to read the Morse clock
The clock breaks the time into two-digit fields — hours, minutes and (optionally) seconds. Each digit is shown as its International Morse code: a small dot for a short element and a long bar for a dash. For example, the digit 7 is --... and the digit 0 is -----.
How to play
- Choose “Blinking lights” to see the time as live dot/dash signals, or “Ticking readout” for a digital display plus its Morse string.
- Toggle 12-hour or 24-hour mode and whether seconds are shown.
- Press “Chime the time” to hear the current time played as Morse audio.
- If your device requests reduced motion, the lights stay static instead of blinking — perfect for comfortable, distraction-free reading.
A fun way to learn the numbers
Reading the time is one of the quickest ways to memorise the Morse digits 0–9, because the same handful of codes repeat all day long. Glance at the clock, sound out each digit in your head, then chime it to check yourself. Everything runs in your browser — no time is ever sent anywhere.
