Morse Code Song Generator
Feed in a word or message and hear it as a short, musical piece. Dots and dashes become notes from a scale you pick, with control over tempo, melody mode, and tone. Play it back instantly or download a WAV to keep.

From code to melody
Instead of the plain on-off beep of standard Morse, this generator gives each element a real pitch. In one mode, dots and dashes ring at different notes a fifth apart; in another, each successive letter steps up through the scale so longer messages climb like a little riff. Dashes hold twice as long as dots, so the rhythm still mirrors the underlying code.
Pentatonic scales tend to sound pleasant no matter the message, which makes them a safe starting point. Add the optional backing click for a steady pulse. All audio is synthesized in your browser with the Web Audio API and rendered offline for the download, so nothing is uploaded.
Tips
- Try a name in C major pentatonic for an instant, cheerful motif.
- Lower the tempo to let longer messages breathe.
- Use the "step up the scale" mode for melodic, song-like results.
- Download the WAV to use as a notification sound or ringtone.
