A shareable signal clip
This tool draws an animation to a canvas, generates the matching CW tone with the Web Audio API, and records both together using your browser's built-in MediaRecorder. The result is a self-contained video file you can post, message, or drop into a slideshow. Everything happens locally on your device.
Recordings are saved as WebM, which plays natively in most browsers and on modern phones. If your browser cannot record video, the tool still lets you download the message as a WAV audio file.
How it works
- Enter your message and choose the speed (WPM) and tone pitch.
- Press Record. The full message plays once while it captures.
- When it finishes, preview the clip and download the .webm.
- Keep the tab focused while recording for the smoothest result.
