Morse Code Memory Match

Turn over two cards at a time to pair each letter with its Morse code. Play by sight, where the code cards show dots and dashes, or by sound, where they only play their code. Fewest moves wins.

Press Deal. Turn two cards at a time to pair each letter with its Morse. The letters come in look-alike pairs, like A and N.

How to play

  • Pick Sight or Sound and how many pairs, then press Deal.
  • The letters come in look-alike pairs: A and N, K and R, D and U and more. Turn a letter with its look-alike's code and the game tells you which is which.
  • Turn a card, then another. A letter and its own code stay face up; anything else turns back after a moment.
  • One move is two cards. Your best (fewest moves) is kept for each setting.
  • Keyboard: Tab to a card, Enter or Space to turn it.

Why it helps

Matching builds the link from a letter to its rhythm without the pressure of a timer. The Sound mode is the more useful one: it ties each letter to how it sounds rather than how it looks, which is how Morse is actually read.
